The Epic SMP Wiki is in an interesting position, as most of the info about things is not directly recorded anywhere, so must be told through personal experience.

Even if you don't have a valid citation, you can still write and make suggestions based on your knowledge, but know it might be changed or corrected without solid proof.

There will never be reprocussions for incorrect information, unless determined to be malicious, so go ahead and just edit pages you like or have knowledge about!

Valid Citations

  • A Youtube video and timestamp
  • A screenshot of a sign or book in game
  • A screenshot of a physical build
  • A screenshot or transcript of messages (with datestamps) from:
    • Discord messages including server/group the messages are from
    • In game message screenshots
    • Direct messages from elsewhere with notable linked details

If none of these forms of Citation are available, a less easy to confirm but valid option is to get sign offs on a detail from multiple people who experienced it. This is more valuable then writing with no citations, but can still be overwritten by more solid evidence if needed for whatever reason
