</ref>. The earliest files for Survival X2 only go back to 2019-10-05, so it is unlikely these messages referred to Survival X2. There were servers run by Kristy before Survival X2, but none were ever officially named. The name "Survival X2" clearly implies an "X1", which would have been the previous survival server she owned, but this was a retronym. "X2" in this case is being used to mean "Version 2".

On 2020-08-20 the first mention of a server being referred to as Survival X2 was made in the "[[Jackbox Bois]]" Discord groupchat<ref name=":0" />

I have had OP on all of these servers at some point, and am usually not against cheating in items or using locate for specific biomes, to make the game easier and more fun. This was the worst of it, and I played more legitimately as time went on, but I still would if I wanted to or needed to so I could keep having fun.

The design of this world is very centralised, and though some portions of the outer world were explored, very few bases outsite the main area were built.

=== Overworld ===

The main area is based around a spawn point inside a small hut containing command blocks that were intended to change the time to day or night, or change the weather to clear. These could be used by any player.

Outside the spawn room you can see a small town of a few houses, some farms for melons, carrots, and chickens, a beacon on top of the “Minecraft eqivelant of seaworld”, a giant storage building, and a large caged in village. The houses belonged to myself (pictured), Owen, and another person who might have been B33pr, an old online friend I used to have. Floating above the town is a wood platform that acted as Zach’s base. In addition, the dragon egg is central in a display case, probably one of best parts of this server and it’s design. This design was later recreated in [[Charavere]] on the [[Epic SMP Season 3.77]] for that server's egg.

This server was created just after the release of 1.14, and was sort of the “test server” for the new features. Since the release of 1.12.2 Kristy had been using it as her main version, and before that using 1.8 to play with her uncle. Because of this, some of the design came from this being a new version for people on the server. The mystery house has waterlogged stairs surrounding it, and there are lanterns scattered around the town. The things that Kristy built to take advantage of the new update were the villager breeder, and storage building. The villager breeder was a design Kristy found on youtube, and from the same youtuber she also made an iron farm and gold farm. The breeder led to an enormous village created partially using worldedit and duplicating houses she had already constructed. The storage building took advantage of barrels to have super tall stacked storage, but was really just an excuse to use them, and was also full of lanterns.

The only known "base" outside of the main area is the fishing house. The fishing hut was a building slightly outside the town and is made of random garbage blocks, a sign of being built by Kristy. It has a plain oak door to get inside, and the inside contains a small pond, and no lighting inside. The lack of lighting is likely a result of Kristy's use of fullbright, and the server being on easy difficulty.<ref>[[:File:SurvivalX2-Server-properties.txt|server.properties]] from the Survival X2 files</ref>

Kristy was invited to a beach party by [[Breanna]] and agreed to attend. On the day of the party (2022-07-10) they were in Breanna's mom's car on the way there, and discussed both having [[wikipedia:Calypso_Park|Calypso]] season passes. The next day, (2022-07-11) Kristy was at calypso with her parents, and saw Breanna and her group there. Kristy decided to join them for the rest of the day, where history was subsequently made. Breanna and Kristy discussed how [[Bethany]] used to have a server, but shut it down after people stopped using it. Kristy offered to make a server, and Breanna said she would invite Kristy to a discord with all of her friends who also played Minecraft. Kristy made the server on 2022-07-13 and joined the discord, she whitelisted Breanna, Bethany, [[Cara]], and [[Izzy]], as well as herself.

=== When Worlds Collide (2022-07-16 to 2023-01-31) ===
On this date, Kristy was playing on the server when she received a call from one of her other friends [[Katie]]. She asked Kristy to join her in a game, to which Kristy said she would be a minute. Katie asked what she was doing, and she had a decision to make. Did she want to keep the server just for her new friends to play on, or should she invite her old friends too? She decided yes, and told them about the new Minecraft server. She later asked Breanna if she could invite them to the discord too so it could be a combination of everyone on the Minecraft server, and she said yes. This small action would eventually lead to the death of the [[Crunchy Rocks]] discord.

=== The Death of Season 3.77 (2023-01-31 to 2023-06-08) ===
On this date Katie, Julie, and Breanna were in a call together on discord early in the day without Kristy. Kristy had wondered what they were doing and why she was excluded. She was later texted by Breanna saying to get on her computer. She had no idea what to expect. She got added to a discord group called “we need to talk” which despite its name was about making a new server. She didn’t want to make a new server, since she was under the belief that since nobody was playing the old one, nobody would play the new one. The others agreed to do a lot of stuff for her in exchange for creating a new server, and this led to the Epic SMP [[Epic SMP Season 5|Season 5]]. She pretended to delete Epic SMP Season 3.77 to show its importance to me, but the point was not really gotten clearly by the others, or they just didn’t care about it at all.

=== NBT Destruction ===
There is no solid date for this, as it is not known exactly when it happened, but at some point during updating the server, everything with NBT data that was loaded got erased. This includes chests in the [[cobble tower]] and the book club, basically every placed sign, and some lecterns. It is assumed that this was because of a spigot update at some point that messed with block data. There is no backup prior to NBT Destruction that has been found, so all of the data from the lost items on the server is gone forever.

=== The Revival and Reset (2024-07-23 to 2025-05) ===
The logs jump to 2024-07-23, and Kristy was playing during this time, and had reset.<ref>"Breanna came over today in the afternoon/evening and we wanted to play minecraft so she brought her laptop. The revival was something Kristy had decided to do. She was encouraged to play Minecraft again after being off school and not having much else to do. It was inspired by Kristy's building of an UnRaid dedicated server using old pc components, since she could run the minecraft server on that instead of her PC (in theory). This never actually happened at this time, but it would later after the logs cut off at 2024-09-08 and come back on 2024-11-14, this was when Kristy's now permenant UnRaid setup was complete, and she had moved the server files to run on the UnRaid machine permenantly.

The reset actually has a meaning in the game context. Kristy took all her items, put them in a shulker, took all the contents of her ender chest, and put them in a hidden chest. With none of her old items, she walked over 1000m south-west to find a new place to make a base, and ended up deciding on a mountain. She built her base on that mountain, and started new with everything. At this point none of the other members played Minecraft often or at all, so she was mostly playing by herself, it was really a single player world that happened to be hosted on another computer.

=== The Finale? (2025-05 to 2025-10-14) ===
Many of the members came back on the server, in some cases just to build a signle house, in others to actually play for a while. A date was decided to defeat the ender dragon as an in-person party at Kristy's house, on 2025-07-13 which is the 3-year anniversary of the server. Between may and july there was very little activity on the server, with Kristy having burnt out on minecraft, and knowing the ender dragon fight was coming.

On the scheduled fight day, Kristy, Breanna, [[Fiona]], and Addie all defeated the ender dragon, and the egg was later placed in a glass case in the center of [[Charavere]]. The server is mostly unused, with the occasional player going on for a few hours. New players had been added in this time, like [[Lucas]] and [[Dawn]], but overall little activity.

== World ==

=== “Old Town” (2022-2024) ===
The surrounding area of spawn was where most of the players built and lived for the first part of the server’s life. The spawn hut, my original house, the chunk hole and book club, the tower, along with the bases of katie, Breanna, cara, and Bethany were all very close to spawn.

The chunk hole started as my project, basing off my same unfinished idea from season 1, but as Breanna eventually had the idea to build her book club at the bottom of the hole, katie ended up doing a lot of the digging work on that hole, along with me. Most of the cobblestone and deepslate that was dug out was repurposed into the tower.

The tower started as a side idea, after digging out so many blocks and not having much purpose with them, I decided to start building a tower. Because it was slightly smaller than a chunk, and was hollow inside rather than solid, in theory all of the blocks it is made of came directly from digging the hole. There were many floors In the tower, and a bubble elevator to take you to the top. I offered a floor to anybody who wanted one, and they were claimed with names on signs. Because of the “NBT Destruction” the names on these signs are now gone.

Breanna built her house on a very extreme floating island/hill that happened to generate near spawn. Cara’s house is on a connected piece, but is slightly smaller. This mountain is actually the icon for the server if you add it to the server list. I thought it looked really cool, having been the first server I fully played with 1.17 generation, so prior to Breanna building her house I turned on shaders and took a screenshot to use as our pack.png.

Breanna also had a therapy office, built out of wood near the tower. It was not used for anything besides decoration and some messing around as far as I can remember.

The [[ludo board]] was an idea that came to me from tiktoks, I saw others building game/ludo boards in Minecraft and I wanted to recreate the clubhouse games version in Minecraft. I am very happy with how It turned out, and I actually built most of it in survival, with the exception of the coloured concrete.

=== Post-Reset (2024-Present) ===
Most of my base is built on the top of a mountain. We have a storage system, along with a mob drop sorter and lava farm underground. The iron farm and trading hall are nearby, and with an elytra are easy to fly between.

For people just joining the server who don’t have an elytra yet, There is a [[rail network]] connecting Old Town to Kristy's base, along with the gold farm, breanna’s new base, and the trading hall all being a part of the rail network. There is also a nether rail network that connects some of these places to a witch farm and nether fortress.

The '''{{PAGENAME}}''' is a build on the [[Epic SMP Season 3.77|Epic SMP 3.77]] of a [[wikipedia:Ludo|ludo]] game board entirely playable in Minecraft. It was constructed almost entirely in survival by [[Kristy Fournier|Kristy]], with some concrete spawned in.

The ludo board is a part of the [[railway network]], and is connected to the "Ludo Board Station". You can reach the board through the rail network or by walking through a tunnel leading to the cobblestone tower in [[Epic SMP Season 3.77#“Old Town” (2022-2024)|old town]].

== Appearance ==
Before entering the actual board both the rail and walking entrances open into a waiting room. There are 4 chests to be used as storage for player items as well as a furnace, crafting table, and an additional lost and found chest for items that are left in the storage chests after a game. Items in the lost and found chest are free for anyone to take. The storage chests are needed as the game is intended to be played with only food in player's inventories.

The board is a recreation of the version of ludo in Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics for Nintendo Switch, and has slightly differing rules from the majority of ludo boards. The board is divided into 4 parts with the player colours: red, blue, yellow, and magenta each getting a section of the board. The board is full covered with glass so it can easily be spectated by a camera or other players

On the east wall is an expansion from the board with a set of 6 pieces of coloured concrete, with a stack of each in a dropper. Each colour is associated with a number, and the dropper is used as a replacement for a die, while still being random. The original version of this setup only had one of each colour of concrete, but made chaining 6's more difficult as you had to replace the concrete before rolling again.

=== Railway station ===
The railway station is in a separate room with a wood door connecting it to the waiting room. It has a chest intended for storing shovels and minecarts, a lodestone, and a hanging sign showing the current station's name. The room has a 2 block tall opening the railroad connects through, meaning it is not safe from mobs entering.

== Games played ==
Most of the games played on the board are livestreamed on the RadioactiveFox youtube channel by Kristy. These livestreams feature 2 cameras, a top-down view of the board, and a first person view of Kristy's perspective.

The first public game was played and streamed on 2022-07-21, and featured [[Julie]], [[Katie]], Kristy, and [[Zach]] as yellow, red, blue, and magenta respectively. == Layout and History ==
The rail network started after the reset, and was originally created to go from Kristy's [[Home Base Hill]] to the overworld gold farm portal. This is because the gold farm was built on the nether roof and so placing another portal closer-by to it could have interfered, so traveling by overworld was seen as the best option, and the rail network was created. It later expanded to include the northern [[Old Town]] part of the server. The ocean base was actually one of the first destinations planned for the rail network, yet it was one of the last built as part of the original set of destinations.

== Overworld ==
In the overworld the network runs from spawn down to the desert portal that leads to the [[Gold Farm (S3.77)|gold farm]] on the nether roof, around 3000 blocks south. The network can transport players from old town to home base station in about a single minecraft day.

== The Nether ==
The nether network is much smaller and less developed than the overworld. These tracks were created for travelling to far away places in the overworld that would be inefficient to travel to normally, like the witch hut and stronghold. There are also nether structures as part of the network, connecting them with important overworld locations

=== Walking trails ===
The nether network is the only minecart network to also contain specific walking trails. Because of the distance division by 8 in the nether compared to the overworld, some portals are too close together to have a useful minecart system with multiple intersections. These consist of pathways typically made from ghast-fireball proof blocks that are short enough to walk between portals after stopping at a central rail station. [[Old town station]] is an example of a central station. It is connected by walking paths to several old town portals within 100 blocks of each other in the nether.

== The End ==
The current end rail network is just a connection between the main island and an eastern outer island. This bridge and track were created by Kristy so that end cities could be explored prior to defeating the ender dragon and opening the gateway portals. Going across the whole track takes ~3 minutes.

== Overworld ==
In the overworld the network runs from spawn down to the desert portal that leads to the [[Gold Farm (S3.77)|gold farm]] on the nether roof, around 3000 blocks south. The network can transport players from old town to home base station in about a single minecraft day.

The nether network is much smaller and less developed than the overworld. These tracks were created for travelling to far away places in the overworld that would be inefficient to travel to normally, like the witch hut and stronghold. There are also nether structures as part of the network, connecting them with important overworld locations

The nether network is the only minecart network to also contain specific walking trails. Because of the distance division by 8 in the nether compared to the overworld, some portals are too close together to have a useful minecart system with multiple intersections. [[Old town station]] is an example of a central station. It is connected by walking paths to several old town portals within 100 blocks of each other in the nether.

The current end rail network is just a connection between the main island and an eastern outer island. This bridge and track were created by Kristy so that end cities could be explored prior to defeating the ender dragon and opening the gateway portals. Going across the whole track takes ~3 minutes.

The revival was something Kristy had decided to do. She was encouraged to play Minecraft again after being off school and not having much else to do. It was inspired by Kristy's building of an UnRaid dedicated server using old pc components, since she could run the minecraft server on that instead of her PC (in theory). This never actually happened at this time, but it would later after the logs cut off at 2024-09-08 and come back on 2024-11-14, this was when Kristy's now permenant UnRaid setup was complete, and she had moved the server files to run on the UnRaid machine permenantly.

The reset actually has a meaning in the game context. Kristy took all her items, put them in a shulker, took all the contents of her ender chest, and put them in a hidden chest. With none of her old items, she walked over 1000m south-west to find a new place to make a base, and ended up deciding on a mountain. She built her base on that mountain, and started new with everything. At this point none of the other members played Minecraft often or at all, so she was mostly playing by herself, it was really a single player world that happened to be hosted on another computer.

Many of the members came back on the server, in some cases just to build a signle house, in others to actually play for a while. A date was decided to defeat the ender dragon as an in-person party at Kristy's house, on 2025-07-13 which is the 3-year anniversary of the server. Between may and july there was very little activity on the server, with Kristy having burnt out on minecraft, and knowing the ender dragon fight was coming.

On the scheduled fight day, Kristy, Breanna, [[Fiona]], and Addie all defeated the ender dragon, and the egg was later placed in a glass case in the center of [[Charavere]]. The server is mostly unused, with the occasional player going on for a few hours. New players had been added in this time, like [[Lucas]] and [[Dawn]], but overall little activity.

The surrounding area of spawn was where most of the players built and lived for the first part of the server’s life. The spawn hut, my original house, the chunk hole and book club, the tower, along with the bases of katie, Breanna, cara, and Bethany were all very close to spawn.

The chunk hole started as my project, basing off my same unfinished idea from season 1, but as Breanna eventually had the idea to build her book club at the bottom of the hole, katie ended up doing a lot of the digging work on that hole, along with me. Most of the cobblestone and deepslate that was dug out was repurposed into the tower.

The tower started as a side idea, after digging out so many blocks and not having much purpose with them, I decided to start building a tower. Because it was slightly smaller than a chunk, and was hollow inside rather than solid, in theory all of the blocks it is made of came directly from digging the hole. There were many floors In the tower, and a bubble elevator to take you to the top. I offered a floor to anybody who wanted one, and they were claimed with names on signs. Because of the “NBT Destruction” the names on these signs are now gone.

Breanna built her house on a very extreme floating island/hill that happened to generate near spawn. Cara’s house is on a connected piece, but is slightly smaller. This mountain is actually the icon for the server if you add it to the server list. I thought it looked really cool, having been the first server I fully played with 1.17 generation, so prior to Breanna building her house I turned on shaders and took a screenshot to use as our pack.png.

Breanna also had a therapy office, built out of wood near the tower. It was not used for anything besides decoration and some messing around as far as I can remember.

The [[ludo board]] was an idea that came to me from tiktoks, I saw others building game/ludo boards in Minecraft and I wanted to recreate the clubhouse games version in Minecraft. I am very happy with how It turned out, and I actually built most of it in survival, with the exception of the coloured concrete.

Most of my base is built on the top of a mountain. We have a storage system, along with a mob drop sorter and lava farm underground. The iron farm and trading hall are nearby, and with an elytra are easy to fly between.

For people just joining the server who don’t have an elytra yet, There is a [[rail network]] connecting Old Town to Kristy's base, along with the gold farm, breanna’s new base, and the trading hall all being a part of the rail network. There is also a nether rail network that connects some of these places to a witch farm and nether fortress.

Since the release of 1.12.2 Kristy had been using it as her main version, and before that using 1.8 to play with her uncle. Because of this, some of the design came from this being a new version for people on the server. The mystery house has waterlogged stairs surrounding it, and there are lanterns scattered around the town. The things that Kristy built to take advantage of the new update were the villager breeder, and storage building. The villager breeder was a design Kristy found on youtube, and from the same youtuber she also made an iron farm and gold farm. The breeder led to an enormous village created partially using worldedit and duplicating houses she had already constructed. The storage building took advantage of barrels to have super tall stacked storage, but was really just an excuse to use them, and was also full of lanterns.

The revival was something Kristy had decided to do. She was encouraged to play Minecraft again after being off school and not having much else to do. It was inspired by Kristy's building of an UnRaid dedicated server using old pc components, since she could run the minecraft server on that instead of her PC (in theory). This never actually happened at this time, but it would later after the logs cut off at 2024-09-08 and come back on 2024-11-14, this was when Kristy's now permenant UnRaid setup was complete, and she had moved the server files to run on the UnRaid machine permenantly.

The reset actually has a meaning in the game context. Kristy took all her items, put them in a shulker, took all the contents of her ender chest, and put them in a hidden chest. With none of her old items, she walked over 1000m south-west to find a new place to make a base, and ended up deciding on a mountain. She built her base on that mountain, and started new with everything. At this point none of the other members played Minecraft often or at all, so she was mostly playing by herself, it was really a single player world that happened to be hosted on another computer.

Many of the members came back on the server, in some cases just to build a signle house, in others to actually play for a while. A date was decided to defeat the ender dragon as an in-person party at Kristy's house, on 2025-07-13 which is the 3-year anniversary of the server. Between may and july there was very little activity on the server, with Kristy having burnt out on minecraft, and knowing the ender dragon fight was coming.

On the scheduled fight day, Kristy, Breanna, [[Fiona]], and Addie all defeated the ender dragon, and the egg was later placed in a glass case in the center of Charavere. The server is mostly unused, with the occasional player going on for a few hours. New players had been added in this time, like [[Lucas]] and [[Dawn]], but overall little activity.

The surrounding area of spawn was where most of the players built and lived for the first part of the server’s life. The spawn hut, my original house, the chunk hole and book club, the tower, along with the bases of katie, Breanna, cara, and Bethany were all very close to spawn.

The chunk hole started as my project, basing off my same unfinished idea from season 1, but as Breanna eventually had the idea to build her book club at the bottom of the hole, katie ended up doing a lot of the digging work on that hole, along with me. Most of the cobblestone and deepslate that was dug out was repurposed into the tower.

The tower started as a side idea, after digging out so many blocks and not having much purpose with them, I decided to start building a tower. Because it was slightly smaller than a chunk, and was hollow inside rather than solid, in theory all of the blocks it is made of came directly from digging the hole. There were many floors In the tower, and a bubble elevator to take you to the top. I offered a floor to anybody who wanted one, and they were claimed with names on signs. Because of the “NBT Destruction” the names on these signs are now gone.

Breanna built her house on a very extreme floating island/hill that happened to generate near spawn. Cara’s house is on a connected piece, but is slightly smaller. This mountain is actually the icon for the server if you add it to the server list. I thought it looked really cool, having been the first server I fully played with 1.17 generation, so prior to Breanna building her house I turned on shaders and took a screenshot to use as our pack.png.

Breanna also had a therapy office, built out of wood near the tower. It was not used for anything besides decoration and some messing around as far as I can remember.

The [[ludo board]] was an idea that came to me from tiktoks, I saw others building game/ludo boards in Minecraft and I wanted to recreate the clubhouse games version in Minecraft. I am very happy with how It turned out, and I actually built most of it in survival, with the exception of the coloured concrete.

Most of my base is built on the top of a mountain. We have a storage system, along with a mob drop sorter and lava farm underground. The iron farm and trading hall are nearby, and with an elytra are easy to fly between.

For people just joining the server who don’t have an elytra yet, There is a [[rail network]] connecting Old Town to Kristy's base, along with the gold farm, breanna’s new base, and the trading hall all being a part of the rail network. There is also a nether rail network that connects some of these places to a witch farm and nether fortress.

The next day, (2022-07-11) Kristy was at calypso with her parents, and saw Breanna and her group there. Kristy decided to join them for the rest of the day, where history was subsequently made. Breanna and Kristy discussed how [[Bethany]] used to have a server, but shut it down after people stopped using it. Kristy offered to make a server, and Breanna said she would invite Kristy to a discord with all of her friends who also played Minecraft. Kristy made the server on 2022-07-13 and joined the discord, she whitelisted Breanna, Bethany, [[Cara]], and [[Izzy]], as well as herself.

She decided yes, and told them about the new Minecraft server. She later asked Breanna if she could invite them to the discord too so it could be a combination of everyone on the Minecraft server, and she said yes. On this date Katie, Julie, and Breanna were in a call together on discord early in the day without me. I wondered what they were doing and why I was excluded. I was later texted by Breanna saying to get on my computer. I had no idea what to expect. I got added to a discord group called “we need to talk” which despite its name was about making a new server. I didn’t want to make a new server, since I was under the belief that since nobody was playing the old one, nobody would play the new one. The others agreed to do a lot of stuff for me in exchange for creating a new server, and this led to the Epic SMP [[Epic SMP Season 5|Season 5]]. I pretended to delete Epic SMP Season 3.77 to show its importance to me, but the point was not really gotten clearly by the others, or they just didn’t care about it at all.

This includes chests in my tower and the book club, basically every placed sign, and some lecterns. I assume this was because of a spigot update at some point that messed with block data. I do not have a backup prior to NBT Destruction that I know of, so all of the data from the lost items on the server is gone forever.

=== Origins (2022-07-13 to 2022-07-16) ===
Kristy was invited to a beach party by [[Breanna]] and agreed to attend. On the day of the party (2022-07-10) they were in Breanna's mom's car on the way there, and discussed both having [[wikipedia:Calypso_Park|Calypso]] season passes. The next day, (2022-07-11) Kristy was at calypso with her parents, and saw Breanna and her group there. Kristy decided to join them for the rest of the day, where history was subsequently made. Breanna and Kristy discussed how [[Bethany]] used to have a server, but shut it down after people stopped using it. Kristy offered to make a server, and Breanna said she would invite Kristy to a discord with all of her friends who also played Minecraft. Kristy made the server on 2022-07-13 and joined the discord, she whitelisted Breanna, Bethany, [[Cara]], and [[Izzy]], as well as herself.

=== When Worlds Collide (2022-07-16 to 2023-01-31) ===
On this date, Kristy was playing on the server when she received a call from one of her other friends [[Katie]]. She asked Kristy to join her in a game, to which Kristy said she would be a minute. Katie asked what she was doing, and she had a decision to make. Did she want to keep the server just for her new friends to play on, or should she invite her old friends too? She decided yes, and told them about the new Minecraft server. She later asked Breanna if she could invite them to the discord too so it could be a combination of everyone on the Minecraft server, and she said yes. This small action would eventually lead to the death of the [[Crunchy Rocks]] discord.

=== The Death of Season 3.77 (2023-01-31 to 2023-06-08) ===
On this date Katie, Julie, and Breanna were in a call together on discord early in the day without me. I wondered what they were doing and why I was excluded. I was later texted by Breanna saying to get on my computer. I had no idea what to expect. I got added to a discord group called “we need to talk” which despite its name was about making a new server. I didn’t want to make a new server, since I was under the belief that since nobody was playing the old one, nobody would play the new one. The others agreed to do a lot of stuff for me in exchange for creating a new server, and this led to the Epic SMP Season 5. I pretended to delete Epic SMP Season 3.77 to show its importance to me, but the point was not really gotten clearly by the others, or they just didn’t care about it at all.

From 2023-06-08 to 2023-10-29 there are logs showing the server semi-active. This was after the final logs of Season 5 on 2023-02-24

=== NBT Destruction ===
I have no solid date for this, as I don’t know exactly when it happened, but at some point during updating the server, everything with NBT data that was loaded got erased. This includes chests in my tower and the book club, basically every placed sign, and some lecterns. I assume this was because of a spigot update at some point that messed with block data. I do not have a backup prior to NBT Destruction that I know of, so all of the data from the lost items on the server is gone forever.

=== The Revival and Reset (2024-07-23 to present) ===
The logs jump to 2024-07-23, and Kristy was playing during this time, and had reset.<ref>"Breanna came over today in the afternoon/evening and we wanted to play minecraft so she brought her laptop. We played for a bit downstairs, and i showed her around the new stuff i built" - Kristy's Journal (2024-07-29)</ref>

The revival was something I decided to do myself. I was encouraged to play Minecraft again after being off school and not having much else to do. I also believe it was inspired by my building of an UnRaid Dedicated server using old pc components, since I could run the server on that instead of my PC (in theory). This never actually happened at this time, but it would later after the logs cut off at 2024-09-08 and come back on 2024-11-14, this was when my now permenant UnRaid setup was complete, and I had moved the server files to run on the UnRaid machine permenantly.

The reset actually has a meaning in the game context. I took all my items I had, put them in a shulker, took all the contents of my ender chest, and put them in a hidden chest, in case I ever want or need to use them again. With none of my old items, I walked over 1000m south-west to find a new place to make a base, and ended up deciding on a mountain. I built my base on that mountain, and started new with everything. At this point none of my friends played Minecraft often or at all, so I was mostly playing by myself, it was really a single player world that happened to be hosted on another computer.

=== Present and Future ===
As of now season 3.77 is still hosted on my UnRaid, and I am still playing on it. Plans to defeat the ender dragon are in place for 2025-07-13, the 3 year anniversary of the server.

== World ==

=== “Old Town” (2022-2024) ===
The surrounding area of spawn was where most of the players built and lived for the first part of the server’s life. The spawn hut, my original house, the chunk hole and book club, the tower, along with the bases of katie, Breanna, cara, and Bethany were all very close to spawn.

The chunk hole started as my project, basing off my same unfinished idea from season 1, but as Breanna eventually had the idea to build her book club at the bottom of the hole, katie ended up doing a lot of the digging work on that hole, along with me. Most of the cobblestone and deepslate that was dug out was repurposed into the tower.

The tower started as a side idea, after digging out so many blocks and not having much purpose with them, I decided to start building a tower. Because it was slightly smaller than a chunk, and was hollow inside rather than solid, in theory all of the blocks it is made of came directly from digging the hole. There were many floors In the tower, and a bubble elevator to take you to the top. I offered a floor to anybody who wanted one, and they were claimed with names on signs. Because of the “NBT Destruction” the names on these signs are now gone.

Breanna built her house on a very extreme floating island/hill that happened to generate near spawn. Cara’s house is on a connected piece, but is slightly smaller. This mountain is actually the icon for the server if you add it to the server list. I thought it looked really cool, having been the first server I fully played with 1.17 generation, so prior to Breanna building her house I turned on shaders and took a screenshot to use as our pack.png.

Breanna also had a therapy office, built out of wood near the tower. It was not used for anything besides decoration and some messing around as far as I can remember.

The [[ludo board]] was an idea that came to me from tiktoks, I saw others building game/ludo boards in Minecraft and I wanted to recreate the clubhouse games version in Minecraft. I am very happy with how It turned out, and I actually built most of it in survival, with the exception of the coloured concrete.

=== Post-Reset (2024-Present) ===
Most of my base is built on the top of a mountain. We have a storage system, along with a mob drop sorter and lava farm underground. The iron farm and trading hall are nearby, and with an elytra are easy to fly between.

For people just joining the server who don’t have an elytra yet, There is a [[rail network]] connecting Old Town to my base, along with the gold farm, breanna’s new base, and the trading hall all being a part of the rail network. There is also a nether rail network that connects some of these places to a witch farm and nether fortress.

'''Spawn''' is the world spawn of new players on [[Epic SMP Season 3.77|Epic SMP 3.77]].

Spawn is surrounded by water to the north, and forest to the south. Around the spawn area is the spawn house, the railroad station, and an animal pen with no animals. Because spawn is frequented by new players with no weapons there are often creeper holes nearby.

To the south-east is old town, and to the north-west is [[Katie|Katie's]] base and [[Bethany|Bethany's]] base

The spawn house is a small wooden house near the spawn point containing chests with old items donated from other players that new players can use to start, as well as a crafting table, furnace, and ender chest.

The lodestone is actually serving little purpose. Because every compass by default points to the spawn point, a lodestone compass calibrated here would do the exact same thing as a normal compass
